Great schnitzel dishes, we loved it. Totally fresh and crispy fried with fried potatoes, simply heavenly. There was steak on the next table, which looked fantastic too. Very friendly staff, super clean toilet. Highly recommended ☺ There were also cakes in the counter, which looked very tasty, but unfortunately we were already full

Small restaurant located in the center on a small street. Very tasty cake. We didn't take advantage of the lunch menu, but decent portions were served.

Very nice rustic restaurant with a lot of heart and love. The food was very, very much and everything was freshly cooked (you can taste it) The schnitzel was huge, freshly prepared, mushroom cream sauce with fresh ingredients and herbs, fried potatoes also fresh and not out of the box. Prices very cheap. The staff was very nice, courteous and always made sure that everything was okay Highly recommended, rarely eaten so well

Excellent german cuisine

Finally found something where there is room. But what a nice surprise! Interior is in need of some freshening up, but it didn't matter. Very friendly service, really nice! Food is very tasty, prices are even cheap. Recommended!

If you like it simple but super tasty and plentiful, you should reserve here and in advance. I was there with four people on Monday and you had to wait. It was really worth it. Delicious, lovely staff and everything freshly cooked like grandma's.

If you like it rustic and good middle-class, this is the place for you. The service is courteous without being intrusive. The food provided tastes very good. In addition to hot dishes, you can also get homemade cakes. Conclusion: gladly again 👍👌

Very nice service. Simple food, rustic. Exactly our thing. We liked it very much. Tasty and portions were not as rich as with others .. We will definitely be back.

The quality of the food is at rest stop level, but this is also reflected in the low prices. The turkey escalope was okay, the fried potatoes were okay, but the mashed potatoes were not good for the stomach and the latter was not properly heated and was still cold inside. The "homemade cheesecake" looked and tasted like baking mix. However, the service was very friendly! The bottom line is what you can expect for the money.

Great food and hospitality

One of the very few (the only) place open all year round in Bernkastel. Ok for a snack or meal when visiting the town in winter. Very friendly and welcoming.

The best German restaurant we know. Here the dishes are prepared with love and you can taste that. The brat cartelelen are delicious, just like the schnitzels (paprika, mushroom rrah and Zwiebel). As a starter, the salad is a welcome with its own dressing. We always come here when we are in Bernkastel the first day and it doesn't stop there. Price / quality super and sweet friendly service. SUPER RESTAURANT.

Without reservation, it can be difficult for dinner with 8 people, but the service here made it flexible and friendly possible. The selection on the map is not overloaded and I liked that. 8 people ordered different main courses and all were very good in preparation, taste and appearance. The offered wines were delicious and also the dessert in the form of homemade cakes was very tasty. The service was good, attentive and nimble. We felt comfortable and welcome and would come back anytime.

This is the best place to eat in Berbkastel kues. We went for our first meal there whilst on holiday, then every evening after that. The food and is fantastic if you like good tasty food without the faff! The hostess was so friendly + welcoming, hence we kept going back for more. The locals that could speak English interacted with us which was nice.

Somewhat hidden away in the narrow streets of Bernkastel old town, but well worth a visit. Good traditional German food, friendly staff and fair prices.

Enjoyed both my visits, good home cooked food and desserts to die for if you have a sweet tooth. Will be back!

The waitress was very nice. We came with a baby and she was so sweet about bringing us a highchair and even washed our babies plate after the meal. The food was very good. The waffles were to fluffy and the Latte Machiato one of the best I ever had. I highly recommend this place!

Normal food and cheap price

Our German host took us to this restaurant, so I trust he knows good places in town. Food was pretty good, thou very much the 'standard German menu' if you like that. They did not accept credit card, inconveniencing me and so my host had to pick up the tab.
